2,600 MILES
LATER,
We are home.
We left Seattle and headed straight across Washington, Idaho, and Montana, stopping just shy of North Dakota, and arrived at Shane's hometown of Plentywood. WHEW!!!! What a drive!
But, we made it there and back and had a WONDERFUL time in between.

Christmas Eve game of settlers and popcorn!
This was a typical sight at the table... everyone sitting around watching Kalia!
I had a good laugh when I walked into the room when Shane was changing Kalias diaper and found her reading a book while being tended too! What luxury!
This was her very first time playing on a piano. It was just the cutest thing. She was so gentle with the keys and eventually insisted on her monkey watching her.
But, he didn't sit up very well when she tried to play. So she kept asking for help to sit him up.
Grandpa time.
Kalia is giggling up a storm on Auntie Kara's shoulders!
Playing with Uncle Trent.
Visiting Grandma Lila!
After several relaxing a wonderful days in Plentywood, we hopped back in the car and drove South to Red Lodge. Where we again relaxed and enjoyed the ONLY snow all across Montana! (It was abnormally bare, dry, and warm all across the state!!!)
This was Kalia's first experience with snow, and she was hooked! She ABSOLUTELY loved it!

Tasting the snow. Must not have been too bad, because she came back for more! :)
Taking off on her own. Exploring everything!
Yes, I realize now she is all decked out in pink. That wasn't really planned... it's just how her outfit worked out that day!
Red nose and rosy cheeks! It was a good day in the snow!
Shane, Kadrie, Matt, and Kara, ready for a beautiful sunny day of snowboarding!
Beautiful drive up to the mountain!
Kara is showing Kalia a new game on her phone! She is becoming quit the technical little girl. Anything with a screen looks like it should do something cool!
Well, aside from it being a wonderful and relaxing trip, we are happy to be home and not sitting in a car!
