Idaho (Part III)

Cousins...
These are the only cousins my little ones have and they absolutely enjoy EVERY minute they get to spend with them!

These two would swing all day if you let them!
"Take this for my mom," he said.
It's a perfect picture Korbin!
That's a pretty big shovel for a little guy!
Korbin was very generous and entertained the girls by pushing them for me! Ahh... i got to sit back and watch....for a minute.
Kamea wanted a picture while she was going down the slide.  You can't tell she is sliding yet, but the expression on her face sets the picture in motion!
Sweet little man just watching all the action!
I loved watching the sun set that evening as it turned the mountains purple. Aww...America the beautiful with purple moutains majesty!  Just can't get enough of it's beauty and the sweet darlings we are raising here!

This concludes my trip photos from Idaho.  We had a blast and as always it was much too short!  We are looking forward to another trip really soon!  Get those toys ready cousins, we'll be back!

Idaho (Part II)

We spent a couple of days just exploring the farm. Having grown up on a farm, I want my children to experience the textures, the dirt, the equipment, and just simply being outdoors, just like I did.  So, we explored, and played, and they had a blast!
Higher mommy! One more big push on the swing (with her dog Charlie) and she feels like she can touch the sky!
"Slides were made for going up, right mom?"
Woops! Nice try buddy!
Kalia asked my today if we could get a "real live dog, just like Grandpa's dog? Because my stuffed dog Charlie is just dead!"
Little cowboy out checking the cows!
And....Telling them what to do and where to go!
Onto the potato field.
It had already been harvested but Kalia found a potato for Kinley and she is telling him all about it.
And then he tries to take a bite.  Hmm... Maybe not.
I know this picture is a bit awkward and blurry, but I had to laugh because I forget sometimes that he is still a little guy.  Here he is trying to walk over a potato furrow but he got high centered and couldn't move either way. He was stuck with his legs spread apart!
Wow! That's a big pivote wheel! Or just little tikes!
In the alfalfa field we picked up some hay to feed to the cows.

The kids also got to ride in a tractor.  Which Kalia talks about just about every day!
Lynae let Kalia sit in her lap and steer the tractor.
When we got to the end of our ride, Kalia wanted to go one more time and buckle up in the seat this time.  So, I got her some snacks and they took off.
I'm pretty sure she talked Lynae's ear off.
There's nothing more fun than exploring and riding in a BIG GREEN TRACTOR!

Idaho (Part I)

We made the trip to Idaho to visit family and to spend some time in the sunshine. Every minute of our trip has been a conversation piece with Kalia.  She remembers everything we did and talks about it all the time.  Its hard to know what and when an experience will be impressed into a child's mind.  This trip most certainly was.
First off, the Pumpkin Patch on October 1st!  I'm pretty sure we were one of the first ones to step foot in the recently opened patch, but we just couldn't wait to play, explore, and have our pick of the perfect pumpkin!
 Sweet, sweet, grow'n kiddos!

Crazy,
Weird pumpkins!
Hauling my two perfect pumpkins to the car!
They have their picks too!
 A happy Frankenstein Kinley!
Minion Kalia and a ghostly Grandma!
Oh the joys of fall, there is so much to like about this new season. A good pumpkin patch adventure is one of my favorites!
More pictures to come....
