Sunset

Shane and I spent a leisurely Friday evening in downtown Seattle. We ate dinner and then walked around and watched the sun go down. This is something we used to do when we were dating, so it's fun to visit every so often and reminisce!

The following pictures are a progression of the sunsetting.
It was a beautiful evening!

All for fun!

Saturday night brought good friends and good treats! We had pizza for dinner, and then chocolate fondue for dessert!! Interesting combination, but it was all SOOOOO good! Shane won these pop guns at the Colfax fair last weekend and the boys got quit the kick out of them! They had a shoot out, and then quick draw competition, and then target practice with pop cans! It was very entertaining!!!!!

Hope everyone else had as much fun sitting around as we did!

Return to Idaho

We spent the weekend in Moscow, Idaho, visiting family and friends. But... the main reason we went over there was to go to the Colfax fair and rodeo! Shane and I have been going for the last 3 or 4 years, so we couldn't miss this year!
~
I love this picture (minus the power lines). It's just a good representation of a fair! The American flag and the ferris wheel! The start of the rodeo! Such a beautiful setting!I couldn't pass up the opportunity to show the colors of the sky in this picture! And............ drum roll......
The Kleppen families new toy!!! Shane is all smiles sitting inside the cab!
Thanks for a fabulous weekend Jed and Kara! Hope to see you again soon!

Idaho

We had a lovely trip home!!!! We were all home to celebrate the labor day weekend, but most importantly, my grandpa's 80th birthday! We had a few days to relax before the party started, so we just hung out around the farm.

Are you sure?

I had a good laugh today when, Kamea (my niece), was insistent on finding out for herself that there was no more yogurt in the container!

yup, auntie, you were right!

Omak, WA

We found ourselves in Omak,Wa this past weekend to pay a visit to my old roommate and best friend, Nicole Draggoo. Her and her husband Jeremy, have just moved onto a little animal farm. It was fun to watch all the different animals, since all we had growing up were cows, horses, and dogs.
~
Beautiful view of the mountains from their house.Nicole holding a chick. The turkeys were absolutely hilarious! Every time you laughed they would gobble back!Kamea enjoyed petting the goats! My city friend has gone country! The boys, (Shane and Jeremy) hanging on the fence like old farmers. Discussing the crops, the weather and us crazy girls making the turkeys gobble!
We picked fresh peaches!Relaxed!Went up to Canada and played miniature golf!On our way home we saw a herd of about 50 mountain sheep! They are such amazing animals!I like this picture with the rock wall in the back ground and a few sheep showing their backside.Sunday, Jeremy took us on a tour of Chief Joseph Dam where he works as an electrician. Shane and Ryan rather enjoyed the tour! Our parting shot at the dam! That pipe is full of water! Scary huh?Nicole and JeremyThanks to these two for a weekend full of fun and fellowship!
