Happy Holidays!

Last week turned out to be a whirl of a week again! Seattle recieved a record amount of snow! If I heard right, we haven't recieved this much snow since the 50's!!!! It just kept coming down, and of course now it's raining and melting all the snow.
Kenyon, Julie, and Korbin arrived on Christmas day and Mom and Dad arrived on Friday. We had so much to food, and enjoyed each and everyone's company!!
Shane and I took a drive up to Snowqualamie Falls. I only got a few pictures because the mist coming from the falls was so cold! But it was still beautiful! Ryan preping the chainsaw to cut down some snow laden trees covering the driveway
Shane, standing by his trusty shovel. Lego's anyone? "Uncle Shane, will you build with me?" Korbin wanted uncle Shane to play with him all weekend.
"Now build this one!!"
Shane getting a tast of being an uncle!

Now it's uncle Ryan's turn

Grandpa and Grandma with their Grandkids!!
It was such a great Christmas weekend! Thank you everyone for all the good times!

WELCOME HOME KAMEA!

Ryan and Malia got to come home today after 5 days in the hospital! It's been a long road to recovery but they are all doing great! It's been so nice for Malia to have her family here to help her out! Kenyon (my oldest sibling) surprised Ryan on Monday evening and has spent a few days here with us! Malia holding her nephew Lincoln as he dances to the music from the balloon!

Kamea is still being treated for Jaundice, so she will be sleeping on a lamp for a few more days.

This is the first time Lincoln saw his new cousin! It was so cute because he got so excited and started jumping around and talking to her!

I love this picture of my two brothers! Ryan is handing Kamea off to Kenyon, being so very gentle!

Welcome home Ryan, Malia, and Kamea! We are so happy for you.... now get some sleep!!!

Baking

While we are waiting for baby Miller to come, Malia and I have been entertaining ourselves! On Wednesday we got pedicures and then baked and decorated cookies. We had so much fun just chatten and creating different designs on our snowflake and mitten cookies! There was one thing that would have made the evening even better and that would have been SNOW! I hope we get some soon!

Weekend Visitors

Mike, Calysta, and Cora Holland stayed the night with as they passed through on Saturday. They are some good friends of ours from college so, it was nice to catch up with them! Sunday after meeting we filled our bellies with crepes, hash browns, eggs, and pancakes at the Original Pancake House. Although our bellies were full, our hunger for caffeine had not yet been satisfied(Especially Mike's! He is a Starbucks addict!). Besides, when you are in Seattle, you can not go home without making a trip to Starbucks!
Thanks for stopping by Mike and Calysta, hope to see you again soon!
