The Kleppen's Are In Town!!

While Elizabeth (Shane's Mom) was working hard at her medical workshop, the rest of us had a little fun. Sorry Elizabeth!!! Saturday afternoon we attended the boat show at Qwest field. After several hours of walking and taking off our shoes (so we could go inside the yachts)... this is a little of what we saw.Jed and Shane leaning over to check out the seating arrangement which you will see in the next picture.Wouldn't this be a thrilling ride?!!!!! What do you think they call this? You can probably guess. Yes, it's called a junk raft!! They even used Nalgine bottles.
Cute little boat!

They never grow up!
After a long day of boat shopping, we ended the day at our favorite restuarant, Anthony's!!
And the end of a wonderful weekend resulted in a Sunday best picture. It was snowing and really bright out so we kind of got washed out! But all in all it's turned out ok.

Our Weekend

Shane and I took a quick trip to Moscow this weekend. No particular reason... just to stop in and say 'HI' to our friends and family! Even though the snow has pretty much melted, Jack Frost had left some beautiful scenery for us to enjoy!!Kara just got this adorably Akita puppy last week. We had a lot of fun playing with her and petting her soft poofy fur! She is so cute and cuddly! Thanks Moscow for a quick but FUN weekend!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Shane and I spent New Years in Big Sky, MT with his family. Its been almost 20 years since I was there last! It was the first place I learned how to ski, so it was nice to venture away from the bunny hill this time! One day when we tried to go snowboarding the mountain was closed due to high winds. So we bought sleds and spent the afternoon sledding down the hill by the condo. Here we have Anya (Grant) pushing Trent and Shane. We even got dad Kleppen to give it a try!

Some deviated from the sledding and had a snow fight.

Snowballs were thown too! Shane got Trent good this time!

Anya and Kara, taking a break.
Here we are, ready for a long day of snowboarding!
These horses were all geared up and ready to work. We ran out of time to enjoy the sleigh rides, plus... if you look at the picture below, who would want to spend time sitting on a sleigh in this temperature?!!

This is what we left behind when we left on Sunday. I don't feel so bad about leaving now! It was so cold! But we had a great time and can't wait to go back!
