Just life

Hello to all...
Not much has been happening here....just life. Hence the lack of posts. But... we are looking forward to the upcoming holidays! Thanksgiving in Idaho, Christmas in Montana! CAN'T WAIT! Until then we are just kicking it here in RAINY Seattle!
~
We checked out a piece of property the other day, and totally fell in love! It's hard to imagine this ever going through, but it's fun to dream!!! It had a beautiful view from the top of the property. You can barely see the mountains, but on a clear day, it would be beautiful! I love this picture. Just standing there... taking in the view!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

We had plans to travel to Leavenworth for Halloween night, but those fell through at the last minute. So... we had a SMALL celebration with some close friends.

Delicious butternut squash soup, with an attempt at a spider web design in the middle. mmm... close enough.

These days

We had an fun relaxing week/weekend. Shane's folks came to visit for a few days and took us to a Gordon Lightfoot concert. Most of you are probably laughing because you know who he is or because you don't. Yeah, well he was a big hit when our parents were in college. In fact... we found out that (even though they didn't know each other at the time) my dad and shane's dad were at the same Gordon Lightfoot concert in Montana in 1972. Crazy huh?! And.....We are pretty sure were were the youngest ones at the concert by at least 20 years! But, it was fun anyway! One of his many guitars Unfortunately, these are the only pictures I got from the whole weekend! Thanks for coming out to visit us mom and dad Kleppen! It was good to see you!!!!!

Sunset

Shane and I spent a leisurely Friday evening in downtown Seattle. We ate dinner and then walked around and watched the sun go down. This is something we used to do when we were dating, so it's fun to visit every so often and reminisce!
~
The following pictures are a progression of the sunsetting.
It was a beautiful evening!

All for fun!

Saturday night brought good friends and good treats! We had pizza for dinner, and then chocolate fondue for dessert!! Interesting combination, but it was all SOOOOO good! Shane won these pop guns at the Colfax fair last weekend and the boys got quit the kick out of them! They had a shoot out, and then quick draw competition, and then target practice with pop cans! It was very entertaining!!!!!

Hope everyone else had as much fun sitting around as we did!

Return to Idaho

We spent the weekend in Moscow, Idaho, visiting family and friends. But... the main reason we went over there was to go to the Colfax fair and rodeo! Shane and I have been going for the last 3 or 4 years, so we couldn't miss this year!
~
I love this picture (minus the power lines). It's just a good representation of a fair! The American flag and the ferris wheel! The start of the rodeo! Such a beautiful setting!I couldn't pass up the opportunity to show the colors of the sky in this picture! And............ drum roll......
The Kleppen families new toy!!! Shane is all smiles sitting inside the cab!
Thanks for a fabulous weekend Jed and Kara! Hope to see you again soon!
