Grandmas and Bop Bops

My babies and I have been enjoying our time here in Idaho at my parents house.  We miss daddy, but will be happy to see him this weekend!
Kalia can say Grandma just fine, but she says "bop bop" for grandpa.  I ask her about her grandpas all the time just so I can hear her say it!

These are just a few pictures from the week.

At grandmas and Bop Bops, we get spoiled with ice cream bars!  This is what she looked like when she got done eating her ice cream!  Must have been yummy!
 Helping me carry in the zucchini from the garden.  Her favorite thing to do.  Every time we go outside, we have to go check the garden!
 She enjoyed sharing cheese with Weston and Kinley.
 Talking to Daddy on the phone.  She kept looking out the window like she could see him.
 ...and then looking at the phone.
 Then back to talking.
 Mom and Kinley
 Eating pizza in Grandmas office.  Mmmm...what a treat.
 Our days here are flying by.  So we're trying to soak it all in while we can!

Farewell Big Sky

We said our good-byes and farewells and hit the road this last weekend.  Our time in Montana has come to an end....for the summer.  Many more trips will be made, but none so special as this summer.

These are a few pictures from our last days in Montana.

 Sunflower fields and that big blue sky!
 The next few weeks of my summer will be spent in Idaho at my parents house.  I figured since I was already packed up and on the road, i might as well go home for a couple of weeks.  So, we took a leisurely drive down through Montana and Idaho.  We stopped in Ennis and spent a little bit of time checking out the shops.  This little guy just looked like he needed his picture taken.  And why not with a cute little girl.
 "Kalia, what does a bear say?"
"Roar!!!!!"
The hands show how fierce her roar is!
 Poking out his eyes
Our days in Montana flew by.
But they were wonderful days that will be cherished forever.

Family Pictures

 We hurried one evening to snap a few pictures of our little family.  Nothing fancy but, a few smiles is all this momma wants.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 Does this look familiar? Kids crying, momma trying to pose them (but failing), and then.... the sweetest most innocent smile.  I want to crop out everything and save that beautiful baby doll look!
 these are just a few pictures i captured this week of my babies
Grant Reunion
 We made a trip to California last weekend for the Grant family reunion.
It was great to see everyone in the little time we had.
A little family picture.
We barely stepped foot on the beach while we were there.  Long enough for a picture and then...we were gone.
We stayed at the Madonna Inn in San Louis Obisbo.
This is the walk to the pool area.
Sniffing the flowers on the way to check out the pool.
Little country girl
The days have been filled with awe and amazement in Kalia's learning curve.  She is talking up a storm and loves every second she gets to spend outside.  Mostly trying to get the dogs to give her a kiss.
She calls Matt's dog Ruger, "booger!"
We teach'm early around here!!
Glamor girl!
We don't leave the house with out these shades!
Smelling grandmas flowers.
A day at the county fair, with her Carharts and shades of course!
Checking out the sheep and pigs with Grandma.
In the petting zoo.
This is about as close as she wanted to get.  An arms reach, and that was good enough!
Just look at those silly pigs digging in the mud!
She has become quit the little country girl.
Going back to the city is going to be rough on this little girl and her momma!
They say you can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl.
Even if we currently live in the city, we will always be country girls!
