Now the beginning of this month, and our NEW YEAR, did not start out so beautiful!

When we left Victor, we headed home to my mom and dads......With the FLU!

Ugh! We spent the next week with high fevers, and well, all the stuff that goes along with the flu.  Not one bit of fun was had. The whole next week was a blur.  Just doing what we could to survive! We left my mom and dads and went to Big Sky, MT to join Shane's family for a late New Years celebration. I don't have a single picture from our time there.  It was all we could do just to "be" there!

We have spent the last couple of weeks just recovering.  Whew!

This is the only picture I got while we were home in Idaho.  Shane mustered up a tiny bit of energy and built the kids a snow fort. While the kids only had energy to sit on the swings and watch.

A few days after we returned home, Uncle Trent brought home a puppy.

And the kids are smitten!

That's our January thus far.

We are looking forward to an eventful year ahead.
