The warmth of summer brings long days outside!
AND, I LOVE IT!
We eat as many meals outside as we can (Kalia requests to sit outside for evey meal!) considering the time and temperatures of the day. As you can see behind Shane in the first picture, we have (FINALLY) planted our whole back yard to grass. No more bare dirt, pesky blackberries, and weeds! Just beautiful lush green grass! Sure makes sitting outside more inviting.

Setting up and playing in the water table for the first time.
Filling up her watering can to water my flower pots.
We have enjoyed a couple of weeks in Idaho.
Some time for convention and time for play.
Here Kalia had requested a bedtime snack. Well, only Grandma can get by with giving them JELLY BEANS before bed!!!! What a treat!
No chance of sleeping in on the farm. We were woken up by the crop dusters at 6:00 in the morning. Grazing the roof of the house. Literally! Those pilots are crazy!
Kalia couldn't wait to get outside to watch them. Here she is waving at him. Even though he is a bit far away.
Lunch on the porch.
Country walks and animal entertainment!
That's one colorful outfit Kalia!(i didn't realize until I saw these pictures. :)
She LOVED splashing around in the puddles!
She LOVED splashing around in the puddles!
Grandpa helping Kinley ride the trike.
You've got a bit of growing to do son, before you can ride that trike!
Shane joined us for the weekend and helped my dad put these chairs together. Korbin built a fort out of the boxes and played peek-a-boo with Kinley!
We took the boat out one evening. Kinley had to stay back at home with Grandma, but he thought he better go check it out before we left.
Weston and Kalia have a serious conversation before we took off.
Getting up courage to jump in the FREEZING COLD WATER.
Yeah, she loved it!
Concentrating very hard on her job as the flagger!
Brave boys take on the icy cold water.
What a sweet picture with the incredible sky!
Leave it to the boys to dare each other to jump in when it was so cold!
Beautiful rising moon!
Come check it out!
Something must have been interesting!
What a wonderful way to start the summer.
