Beach Babes

These were our days on the beach.
Kinley was an avid explorer and Kalia was very hesitant to even step out of the car.  By the end of the week, Kinley had eaten a bucket full of sand and Kalia was barely brave enough to put a toe in the water.  We had fun, but as this momma reflects on the the times spent on the beach prior to kids or even when Kalia was an infant, it was much more relaxing!  When Shane asked Kalia what her favorite part of Hawaii was she said, "watching the movie 'Cars' on the airplane."
I think we'll leave them home next time!

Haha! Just kidding.
They are wonderful kids, and we enjoyed every minute with them!
This is how we saw Kinley most of the time.  Working his way away from us!
Kalia checking out her surroundings.
Lots of pictures of the little man.  Sorry, but he was just so cute!
All with a face covered in sand!

Yes, that's a cruise ship in the background!

My daddy is pretty funny!

Collecting shells and rocks.
She loved playing in the sand.  I think we'll have to make her a sand box this summer!

Uncle Jed made them a dolphin and a turtle in the sand.  Here Kalia is sitting on the dolphins tail.
And totally wiped out!  Snoozing on the beach.
(Kalia @ 10 months old sleeping on the beach!)
Jed helping Kinley dip his toes in the water.
Ahhh... blue skies and blue water.  SOOOO beatuiful!
Dinner in Waikoloa.
 Sweet Kalia

 More food please!!
Mmm... I could eat it again!
Jed's coffee shop in Waikoloa.
Yum! Love that stuff!
And the outdoor seating is so inviting!  If only i didn't have a crawler to look after, I could sit here for a long time just sipping my coffee!  Great place Uncle Jed!

Can't wait to go back!

Wonderful pictures Suz! I love the one of E and her 3 children. Such memorable days with family, priceless! Love the two pics of Kalia now and then. :) Kinley is about the same age now as she was in the first picture. Wow, time flies! Thanks for sharing!
